Celebrity’s Solstice Series Ships Set for $250 Million Modernisation

Celebrity Cruises has announced a major $250 million investment to upgrade its Solstice Series ships, beginning with Celebrity Solstice. The project will introduce enhanced outdoor areas, redesigned suites, and brand-new dining and entertainment experiences starting in 2026.

One of the most notable additions will be the all-new Boulevard Lounge, offering daytime activities such as game shows and transitioning into a candlelit concert venue by night. Nearby, guests will find the stylish Boulevard Bar and a new sports-themed bar featuring arcade games, called Celebrity Barcade.

Dining options are also set for a refresh. Highlights include Trattoria Rossa, a new Italian restaurant, and the addition of the upscale Fine Cut Steakhouse.

The top deck will be completely reimagined into a vibrant Sunset Park, where passengers can enjoy lawn games, live open-air concerts, and casual dining. The expansion will also include private cabanas and a larger Sunset Bar.

The Retreat — the line’s exclusive suite experience — will undergo a major transformation. Enhancements include redesigned suites, a new outdoor Retreat Sundeck with upgraded seating, and a refreshed Retreat Lounge for added comfort and style.

Four new stateroom categories will debut:

  • Panoramic Infinite Veranda Suite
  • Deluxe Panoramic Oceanview Suite
  • Panoramic Ocean View Suite
  • Deluxe Panoramic Ocean View

AquaClass Staterooms will also see significant updates.

The revitalised ships will feature new itineraries, including The Grand Voyage — a 110-night journey visiting 55 unique ports from September to December 2026.

This renovation aims to elevate the onboard experience while preserving the charm and elegance that has long defined Celebrity’s Solstice Series.
