SPAIN – Adverse Weather Update: Lanzarote Flooding
What’s happening in Lanzarote?
Following recent adverse weather in Lanzarote, we can confirm that three hotels — TUI Suneo El Trebol, HD Beach Hotel, and Paradisus by Melia Salinas — have experienced disruptions, including loss of water and electricity. Investigations and assessments are currently underway, and unfortunately, these hotels are unable to accept arrivals for the time being.
As a result, we’ve had to make the difficult decision to cancel bookings for the following travel dates:
- TUI Suneo El Trebol – All arrivals up to and including 1st June 2025
- HD Beach Hotel – All arrivals up to and including 18th April 2025
- Paradisus by Melia Salinas – All arrivals up to and including 18th April 2025
We sincerely apologise for the disruption and disappointment this may cause. If you are due to travel to these hotels on a later date, please rest assured we are continuing to monitor the situation closely and will contact you directly if your holiday is affected.
The good news: weather conditions have now improved and no further heavy rain is forecast. Resorts and hotels across Lanzarote are largely operating as normal, and most guests are continuing to enjoy their holidays without disruption.
