Manchester Airport has released a short video giving passengers a first glimpse of its upgraded Terminal 2, set to be completed later this year.
The video showcases the full passenger journey, from arrival in the newly designed check-in hall to security screening and the expanded departure lounge.
Manchester Airport Managing Director Chris Woodroofe expressed excitement about the transformation, highlighting the airport’s decade-long £1.3 billion redevelopment project.
“We’re in the final stages of finishing everything off to open it to the public later this year. There’s a huge amount of work going on all over the airport, but this video shows that it will all be worth it,” he said.
Beyond Terminal 2, improvements also include modernising the airfield, constructing a new road for better access, and upcoming enhancements to Terminal 3.
