TUI SUNEO Dunas – Renamed & Rebranded

TUI has confirmed that from 1 November 2025, the TUI SUNEO Dunas will leave the TUI SUNEO range and join the TUI Summer Sun collection under its new name: Sol Dunas.

The property will continue to be family-friendly, with the same high standards of service expected from a Melia hotel. Guests can look forward to:

  • Main buffet restaurant serving international cuisine
  • Poolside snack bar and a choice of bars
  • Family swimming area, plus splash park and playground (located next door at Melia Dunas)
  • Daytime activities and evening entertainment as before

There will be no changes to existing bookings, and all facilities will remain in place.

TUI BLUE Cabo Verde – Renamed & Rebranded

From 13 October 2025, the TUI BLUE Cabo Verde will no longer be part of the TUI BLUE range. It will join the TUI Summer Sun collection as Melia Laguna.

The hotel will remain an adult-only property, continuing to offer:

  • The same range of restaurants (Culinarium à la carte renamed to La Serena) – one visit per week included, reservation required
  • Daytime activities and evening entertainment managed by the hotel

Special Arrivals Offer – 13 to 31 October 2025

For guests travelling between 13–31 October 2025, Melia Hotels will provide:

  • VIP wristband – access to facilities at both Melia Laguna and neighbouring Melia Llana, including bars, restaurants, Premium amenities, Bikini Beach, Bar Marley, Nami Restaurant, and a complimentary spa treatment
  • £50 per person – credited to the booking within 10 days (refunded if balance already paid, or deducted from the remaining balance)

All Other Dates – £50 Per Person Offer

For all other travel dates, guests will also receive £50 per person as a goodwill gesture. The same credit/refund process applies.

Guest Options

  1. Remain at Melia Laguna – No action required if guests are happy with the change.
  2. Switch to a TUI BLUE hotel – At no extra cost, subject to availability and like-for-like booking terms (TUI Airways flight, similar dates, same duration, board basis, and room type). Available alternatives are:
    • TUI BLUE Makadi Gardens – Hurghada, Egypt
    • TUI BLUE Suite Princess – Playa Taurito, Gran Canaria
    • TUI BLUE Medina Gardens – Marrakech, Morocco
      Guests must contact TUI within 10 days to make this change.
  3. Rebook and Save – Select a different holiday and receive up to 10% off the value of the original booking. If the new holiday is cheaper, the difference will be refunded.
  4. Cancel for a Full Refund – Guests not wishing to travel can cancel their booking with no cancellation fees.
